Abu Dhabi is a city on the southern coast of the Persian Gulf, the capital of the emirate of the same name and the federal state of the United Arab Emirates. Currently, the city is the second largest settlement in the country and its main industrial and financial center. Abu Dhabi produces more than half of the UAE’s national income, being the capital of the largest oil-producing emirate.
