The Maldives is a chain of islands stretching for hundreds of kilometers in the Indian Ocean, south of the Hindustan Peninsula. In total, this archipelago includes 26 coral atolls, consisting of 1.2 thousand islets. Despite its small size, the Maldives annually attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world. The reason for this, first of all, is the wonderful natural conditions – a warm southern climate, magnificent beaches covered with golden sand, the endless blue of the ocean and an unusually rich underwater world.
